Michelle Quigley Pearson, LMT, CMLDT, C-IAYT
WA State License #60887735
Michelle’s approach to massage and yoga is centered on doing no harm, honoring your goals, supportive routines, regard for breath, respect for the body.
She has practiced yoga, breath awareness, and bodywork (in that order) for two decades. She provides therapeutic massage and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) for people who want to support whole-body wellness and overcome maladies resulting from both acute and chronic conditions.
Her emphasis on breath, as well as movements that gently strengthen the body, are an opportunity for the individuals she works with to experience significant changes in their nervous system and beyond.
She regards these therapeutic practices as an invitation to experience sensation. In classes and private sessions, she facilitates group experiences that help to fortify one’s sensitivity to the many nuances in their physical life.
She is grateful to have studied with experienced teachers across many disciplines including massage & bodywork, lymphatic drainage, breath coaching, embodiment, and yoga.
She enjoys facilitating groups because gathering and sharing has helped her to feel vitally interconnected during the ups and downs of life including four pregnancies, the births of two children, family life, athletic pursuits, work life, loss, and living.
Some of her modalities include fascial release, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), certified pregnancy and postpartum massage, breast massage for lactation and holistic health, scar release, neuromuscular techniques, active/passive/resisted range of motion.
